Large fast food chains KFC and Burger King in Russia are starting to switch to Chernogolovka drinks instead of Coca-Cola, writes RIA Novosti with reference to the correspondent.

Yes, KFC already pours cola from a Russian company, as well as lemonade. Cola is offered for 99 rubles in bottles, and it tastes “practically no different” from traditional Coca-Cola, the agency notes. At Burger King, they serve only cold tea, and on parts of the faucets with drinks it is written “Here is just water” with the postscript – “but it’s not forever.” At the same time, employees claim that in the future they will also sell Chernogolovka products.

Coca-Cola has not yet stopped being sold in the establishments of the “successor” of McDonald’s in Russia – the chain of quick service “Delicious – and point”. The head of the company noted that it managed to make a certain stock of production, but sooner or later it will run out.

Restaurants have also begun to search for an alternative to Coca-Cola: after the company’s departure from the Russian market, they are negotiating with large beverage producers, and also offer lemonade of their own production as a replacement.

On June 17, it became known that Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (Coca-Cola HBC) decided to stop production on the territory of Russia, as well as the sale of beverages under the Coca-Cola brand.
